I’m an Orlando local, but Palestinian in heritage #FreePalestine. Growing up in Orlando, I was surrounded by deers, orange groves, and serene lakes, allowing for a childhood where I fell in love with natural beauty.
I graduated with a business degree from UCF during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was a tough time. Finding a job was almost impossible, and I applied to over 500 positions without any luck. It was a challenging period, but it also led to me writing this “About Me” section for my own business.
Starting MurgaSkin Labs with Irfan felt…..Correct. It allowed me to reconnect with my inner child and pursue a passion that has been close to my heart for years, which is self empowerment.
As a teenager, I struggled with confidence, also known as acne and couldn’t afford to see a dermatologist, so I had to find ways to treat my skin on my own. I tried everything from chemical peels to microneedling. Hoping it would improve my skin. Those experiences inspired me to create a place where people can find the most compassionate care fused with advanced treatments in a safe and welcoming environment.
At MurgaSkin Labs, we aim to make selfcare enjoyable and effective, turning something that was once a struggle into a positive and empowering experience for everyone.
